Eighteen years ago I started designing apps. Today I help businesses understand why people buy, learn, stay, and leave, and what to do about it.
In between, I’ve built and shaped products across five industries: consumer mobile, hotel booking, gaming, property, and language learning, working directly with CEOs and CPOs to turn business problems into products people actually use. Most consultants spend a career inside one industry and ask you to trust that their insight applies to yours. I’ve already watched the same psychological patterns, what makes someone trust a booking flow with their money, what makes someone stay subscribed to a loyalty scheme, what makes a learner actually retain a skill rather than just complete a lesson, play out identically across completely unrelated markets. I’m not theorising. I’m pattern-matching against things I’ve already seen work.
That instinct is backed by real rigour, not just experience. A background in biomedical science gave me an early grounding in evidence before I ever touched a wireframe, and a diploma in modern applied psychology has since put a formal framework around instincts I’d already been running on for years. I write publicly and at length on the psychology behind negotiation, training design, and business strategy, because I’d rather you read the thinking yourself than take my word for it.
What I offer isn’t three separate services bolted together. UX, behavioural psychology consulting, and product strategy are the same underlying skill, understanding why people actually do what they do, applied at three different altitudes: the single interaction, the individual decision, and the business as a whole. Hire me for one, and you get a read informed by all three.can help you design and develop the perfect app to meet your specific needs.
